Trust & safety
How Betfalme Protects Your Account and Your Money
256-bit TLS encryption, BCLB licensing, KYC for high-value activity, real-time fraud monitoring, and responsible gaming tools.
Your account security is our highest priority. Betfalme is built on the same security primitives used by major banks: TLS encryption end-to-end, secure session management, KYC for high-value activity, and 24/7 fraud monitoring.
This page explains exactly what we do — and what you can do — to keep your account safe.
Encryption and data protection
- All connections use 256-bit TLS encryption (HTTPS) — the same standard used by Kenyan banks
- Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes — even Betfalme staff cannot read them
- M-Pesa transactions are processed through Safaricom's encrypted API; we never see your M-Pesa PIN
- Account session tokens expire automatically; sessions are isolated per device
- Data hosted on infrastructure with ISO 27001 / SOC 2 controls
Account security features
- OTP login verification via SMS
- Failed login lockout — 3 wrong attempts triggers a 15-minute lockout
- Phone-number-only login — credentials are never shared with third parties
- KYC required for withdrawals over KSH 50,000 and for newly-created accounts
- Manual review for unusual activity patterns
Fraud monitoring
We run automated checks 24/7 looking for patterns associated with stolen accounts, money laundering, and bonus abuse. If something looks unusual, we may briefly pause activity on the account while a human reviews it. Reviews are typically completed within 24 hours. If your account is ever paused, you'll see a clear message explaining what is happening.
What you can do to stay safe
- Use a unique password — not your birth year, not 1234, not your phone number
- Never share your password, OTP code, or M-Pesa PIN with anyone
- Log out on shared devices
- Be skeptical of any "predictor" or "tip channel" asking for money or your login details
- Always verify you're on the real Betfalme — the URL must be betfalme.ke (not .com, .net, or similar)
- If you suspect your account is compromised, change your password immediately and contact support
Recognizing scams
- Betfalme will NEVER ask for your password
- Betfalme will NEVER ask for your M-Pesa PIN
- Betfalme will NEVER ask you to send money to a personal M-Pesa number
- Telegram channels promising "100% wins for a fee" are always scams
- "Aviator predictor" apps are scams — Aviator is Provably Fair
- Calls or texts claiming to be from "Betfalme support" asking for credentials are scams
